Caabu would like to invite you to a talk with leading author James Barr, as he speaks about the history of Anglo-American rivalry in the Middle East during the period of transition from British Empire to American dominance.

About the speaker:

James Barris a visiting fellow at King's College London and the author of A Line In The Sand andLords of the Desert.  Before that he had worked in politics, at the Daily Telegraph, in the City, and at the British Embassy in Paris.
