The Gaza emergency enters its twentieth day, since bombardment of region by the State of Israel began on 8 July.  With a death toll of over 1,000 Palestinians mostly civilian, 46 Israelis (3 civilians and 43 soldiers), over 6300 Palestinians injured (nearly half of whom are women and children) and the number of Palestinians internally displaced surpassing 200,000.

There will be an event this Friday - 01 August 2014 - to be held at Mansfield Chambers, 5 Chancery Lane -18:30-19:30 - to discuss the ongoing crisis in Gaza from a legal perspective, looking at identifying breaches of international law, legal remedies and the role of the International Criminal Court.
